Madison Waugh is a senior at the University of Mary Washington, majoring in English Literature with an projected graduation of Fall 2026. She plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Library Science and build a career in the field. Her love of literature and dedication to media preservation — alongside a firm belief in the importance of scientific evidence and intellectual freedom — have driven her passion for continuing education, in and out of the classroom. She is especially committed to fighting the censorship of marginalized voices and their stories, both in her communities and outside of them.
